Jeremiah Green Invitational: Standout Player and Key Insights

Arianna Robinson | 2028 Guard | Plano East

Player Spotlight: Ariana Robinson — One of One

When talking about future stars in Texas girls basketball, Arianna Robinson‘s name needs to be at the top of the list. A 2028 guard from Plano East, Robinson showed at the Jeremiah Green Invitational that she’s not just a promising young player, she’s already making her mark as one of the elite in her class.

Robinson checks all the boxes: great size, physicality, skill, and basketball IQ. She embraces contact and finishes through it with strength and control. Off the bounce, she’s crafty, a three-level scorer who can get to the rim, pull up in the midrange, and stretch the floor from beyond the arc. Her go-to midrange game is polished, mature, and nearly impossible to defend in space.

But make no mistake, Arianna isn’t just advanced for her age; she’s a top-20 ESPN national prospect in the class of 2028, and she plays like it. With a smooth feel for the game, a high motor, and a team-first attitude, she’s the kind of player who will make an instant impact at the college level.

And the scary part? She still has three more years of high school basketball to sharpen her tools.

The next evolution for Robinson will be twofold:

  1. Developing a more consistent three-point shot. While she’s more than capable from deep, she leans into her strengths in the midrange and paint. As defensive game plans begin to sag off and dare her to shoot from distance, increasing her volume and confidence from three (ideally taking 4–5 attempts per game) will unlock another gear in her already dynamic game.

  2. Becoming a more vocal leader. Ariana already leads by example, her poise, energy, and unselfish play earn the respect of teammates. But stepping up as the vocal leader, the one who directs traffic, encourages teammates, and takes command in pressure moments that will elevate not just her individual game but her entire team.

Robinson’s combination of skill, strength, and mentality puts her on a trajectory toward national prominence. She’s already one of the best in the state. The next few years will be about refining her voice and expanding her range, and when she does, the sky’s the limit.

I’ll be tracking her closely this season and beyond. Arianna Robinson is one of one, and the impact she’s about to have on Texas basketball will be unforgettable.
